FLI Connect is  a learning community that connects and advances our members through opportunities for learning skillsets, acquiring unique firsthand experiences, establishing networks and gaining expert insights. FLI Connect offers members opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, get in-depth product training, or always be up to date about the latest in the different industries.

Combining the deep histories, success stories, and wide networks of the founding members, FLI Connect aims to create a powerhouse of resources to aid FLI Members opportunities of personal growth – growing this network as our members continue to progress through their careers.

FLI Connect Events are subdivided into 3 major Categories:

Learning Ideas Series

The Learning Ideas Series is a series of events where FLI members gathers to find new paths, solutions and innovations in learning and technology for personal development and further education. These events focus on generating and sharing interesting new ideas in personal development and will includes lecturers and panelist who are leaders in the respective fields of research, development, academia, and different industries.

The Deep Dive Series

Our Deep Dive Programs brings together leading professionals from different industries to offer members access to unique experiences that aid these future leaders in their journey of personal growth. The idea for this program is to throw our members into the deep end of leadership in a controlled mock real-world environment to let them experience firsthand what it’s like day-to-day for the different industry’s top practitioners. The results of these events are unique learning experiences which blend academic and practical sessions to provide leaders not only with an in-depth understanding of the concepts of being a leader, but also with the skills to apply those concepts in their future careers.

FLI Network Series 

FLI acknowledges that networking events are an important way for our members achieve personal development and advance toward their goals. May it be to learn new skills, understand the diverse roles in different industry, find a job, or find a mentor who can help guide your career, networking is an integral part of self-development.

FLI Networking aims to provide a diverse range of networking events including:

Happy Hour Meetups – casual events , where, the organizers of the event rent out a portion of a bar or restaurant where everyone is welcome to have a few drinks and appetizers while they converse with other professionals. Since this is a laid-back environment, it’s a low-stakes way to get to know other professionals on a personal level.

Career fairs – Aimed at members just starting their careers. During these events, members can meet with representatives from multiple companies – allowing them to introduce themselves and ask a few questions about the company. 

Speed networking – Speed networking is a way for professionals to rapidly make connections with other professionals. Like speed dating, you meet one-on-one with another professional for a set period of time. During this meeting, you can introduce yourself, ask a few questions and share contact information. After the time is complete, you move on to another person.
