FLI Mentorship

The FLI mentorship programs are well-defined learning relationship programs that allow members to learn from both the senior members and the founding members network and develop a personal relationship. FLI acknowledges that mentorship program ideas may help future leaders improve emotionally and professionally via their interactions with their mentors. The mentee can create and attain objectives by having a trusted colleague to turn to for help.

At FLI Mentorship, we aim to offer 2 differing mentorship programs one structured and one casual.

Developmental Mentoring Program:

The program involves relationships between our young members who are just starting out in their careers and members from the founder’s network (and eventually the senior members pool) to help mentees develop the skill necessary to advance their careers. Under this program format, mentor-mentee matching will be selected through a compatibility algorithm designed by our mentoring program committee in order to help mentees pair with unbiased mentors that take consideration of the mentee’s aspirations.

 

Young Global Leaders (YGL) Mentoring Program:

An important part of the Future Leaders Initiative is the Young Global Leaders Summer Program but young member, even those with lofty aspirations, can often feel lonely or intimidated of these new challenges or being away from home for the first time. YGL Mentorship may change these feelings of isolation into a sense of support and camaraderie and members can feel a sense of community when they engage in this mentorship program idea.
